The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids on Tuesday, March 5th.

The event will take place under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time and craft activities about Florida’s History, animals, people and local plants, and the Lighthouse Keepers. The event is aimed for children 8 years old and younger. The children are asked to bring a small blanket or picnic mat for the event.

The program is free and lasts approximately 45 minutes. You are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the event for check in. The event starts at 10:30 am and the space is limited to 25 children. Click here to RSVP and reserve your child’s spot before this upcoming Friday, March 1st.

The Downtown at the Gardens hosts a weekly Friday night concert in the Centre Court from 6 pm to 9 pm. 

The free weekly concert features everything from jazz, rock n’ roll, pop, R&B, hip hop, country, and everything in between. The bands are a musical lineup of local and regional bands. Seating is provided in Centre Court for the concerts.

Sierra Hull, a South Florida favorite, is playing at the Lyric Theater this Saturday, March 2nd. The bluegrass singer, mandolinist and guitar player first played the Grand Ole Opry when Alison Krauss called her to the stage. She was 11. Now 26, she has played the White House, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and was the first bluegrass musician to receive a Presidential Scholarship to the Berklee College of Music.

True Food Kitchen, a health minded food concept made famous by the Dr. Andrew Weil, a healing foods guru is opening a restaurant in the Gardens Mall next year. The national restaurant chain gained Orpah Winfrey as an investor last year. The Palm Beach Gardens location will be the company’s third location in Palm Beach County.

The company announced a new location just a year after True Food Kitchen had opened a located at the Boca Raton’s Town Center mall. The Boca Raton location is a 7200 square foot restaurant and the Gardens Mall location is expected to be a little larger at 8000 square feet with both indoor and outdoor dining. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach has announced its upcoming “Kravis on Broadway” series for 2019.

Fiddler on the Roof: Is coming to the Kravis Center November 12th through November 17th. Fiddler on the Roof has won 9 out of the 10 Tony Awards since beginning its Broadway run.
