The 990-foot-long fishing pier is a T-shape that offers visitors a full-service Pier House and great salt-water fishing. This weekend, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting a Back to School BioBlitz event. BioBlitz is a science effort to record as many species as possible within a designated location in a short period of time.

This Saturday, the Marinelife Center is hosting the event for everyone to enjoy. The morning will be filled with fun activities to identify local marine species for science. The family friendly event begins at 8 am to 11 am this Saturday, September 7th at Coral Cove Park in Tequesta.
