BP Petroleum is another corporation helping the heroes on the front lines. Who will receive a check?  A Person earning up to $75,000 in adjusted gross income and who has a valid Social Security number will receive a $1,200 payment. That also indicates married couples, filing joint tax returns, will receive the full payment of $2,400 if their reported adjusted gross income is under $150,000. Parents will also receive $500 for each qualifying child.  You must earn at least $2,500 to qualify for the payments.
