The spokesperson for the Florida Lottery said a Palm Beach Gardens Publix Super Market sold one of three winning tickets in Friday's Fantasy 5 drawing.  The store in the Promenade Shopping Plaza on Alternate State Road A1A sold the ticket, which bore the number combination of 4-13-17-18-28. It paid $66,336.48.

The other winning tickets were sold in Aventura and Rockledge, the lottery official said.

School is back in session for students in the Palm Beach County School District. Students go back to school today, Monday, August 31st.

The start of the new school year looks a little different compared to previous years. The school district announced in late July that the school district was going completely virtual for the start of the new 2020/2021 school year.

In effort to help the students, teachers, parents, and guardians adjust to virtual learning, the school district set up several hotlines and online resources for students and teachers to use.

With Palm Beach County School District starting classes on Monday, August 31st, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach has created a new program to help students and parents with virtual learning.  Every week, the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center will be hosting their Coastal Classroom.

The Coastal Classroom is a weekly event that will begin Monday, August 31st. The purpose of the Coastal Classroom is to help students, parents, and teachers with the remote virtual learning. Players will improve their tennis skills while learning a sport for a lifetime. New friends will be made while having tons of run.
