Every Monday during the month of September, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their weekly Twilight Yoga At The Light event.

The popular event is open for all level of yoga and the class is taught by Yoga instructor Mary Veal. The class begins at sunset and you get to experience the serenity and relaxation of yoga on the Lighthouse deck.

If you plan on attending, you’ll need to bring your Yoga mat, a water bottle, and a flashlight. The class will meet 10 minutes prior to the starting time of the class. The classes are weather dependent and last approximately an hour, check their website for more updates.

Next Saturday is the 6th Annual Chase N Tailz Fishing Tournament taking place at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.

The Fishing Tournament is for all ages and benefits a local children’s charity that funds families with very sick children.

The tournament starts at 6:30 am on Saturday, September 7th and those who wish to participate can go out of any inlet they choose, and launch form any boat ramp. Those who start before the 6:30 am start time will be disqualified from the tournament.

This weekend there is three baseball games and an event going on at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Downtown Abacoa. Downtown Abacoa offers a wide variety of shopping, entertainment and restaurants for you to check out before or after the baseball game.

The stadium is home to the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals in addition to being the home to the two Major League teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins during their Spring Training.

Spin classes are becoming more popular to help you get in shape. Part of the reason why so many people enjoy clipping into bike is because of the levels of intensity throughout the class that provides a great cardio workout.

The popular Climb and Paddle event at the Jupiter Lighthouse is this Tuesday, August 20th starting at 10 am. The adventure starts with a climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse to see great views of Jupiter and the water.

After the climb, visitors will meet members of the Jupiter Outdoor Center where you receive your paddle boards or kayaks and travel through the waters of the Jupiter Inlet and surrounding waterways. You may even see sea turtles, manatee, birds and other marine and wildlife along the journey which are frequently spotted during this event.

This weekend, the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter is hosting three baseball games and a special event on Saturday Night.

The Roger Dean Stadium is the only stadium complex in the country to host home to four minor league teams and only one of two in Florida to host two major league teams during their Spring Training. The minor league teams that play at the stadium include the Jupiter Hammerheads, Palm Beach Cardinals, Gulf Coast Marlins, and the Gulf Coast Cardinals. This Saturday, August 17th the premier cycle studio in Palm Beach Gardens will transform into a pink party to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Florida. Cycle For A Cure will be held at CycleBar on Donald Ross and Military Trail.

The class will feature a high-intensity and energy 60-minute spin class filled with music, competitions, exciting prizes and snacks. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Jupiter Outdoor Center and the Jupiter Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Climb and Paddle event this Friday, August 9th.

The tour begins and ends at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse with an hour paddle around the Jupiter Inlet and surrounding waterways an hour before the start time. The event begins at 2 pm and check in starts 15 minutes before at the Lighthouse Museum Gift Shop.

Children under 16 must be accompanied to climb and paddle and children must be 6 years old to participate in the program. Personal kayaks and paddle boards are not permitted.
