A local favorite activity to do on the weekends in Northern Palm Beach County and Martin County is to attend one of the area’s best local green markets. This weekend the weather is expected to be nice and sunny this Memorial Day weekend, perfect to spend the day outside shopping some of the best local and homemade goods.

The green markets in the area offer some of the best produce, fresh flowers, unique homemade goods, homemade breads and pastries, spices, teas, local honey, and much more from local crafters and growers.

Here is a list of some of the best local markets happening this weekend in our area.

Hobe Sound Farmers Market:  Hobe Sound

The farmers market is located just past I-95 on Bridge Road. The market started in 2020 and has been a popular weekend activity every Saturday. The farmers market sits on 126 acres and during the holidays offers Christmas trees and pumpkins but every Saturday throughout the rest of the year, the market offers fresh produce from local farms, homemade goods, fresh flowers, and much more.

Waterfront Market at Harbourside Place: Jupiter

Every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, the outdoor shopping and entertainment center hosts their Waterfront Market. Come stroll around the intracoastal and shop local homemade goods and fresh produce. Harbourside Place offers free parking in the parking garages all day on Sunday, a free outdoor Waterfront Yoga class at 10:30 am, outdoor brunch at Calaveras Cantina from 11 am to 3 pm, live music at Tommy Bahama restaurant at 2 pm.

The Gardens GreenMarket: Palm Beach Gardens

The city of Palm Beach Gardens hosts a weekly GreenMarket every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm. Shoppers can choose to walk through the Produce Market and shop or can shop online and pick up their items through the Gardens 2 Go Market. Both options offer the same quality produce, homemade baked goods, seafood, dairy, cheeses, local eggs, meats, and much more. The GreenMarket takes place at the City Hall Municipal Center located on Burns Road and Military Trail.
