This beautiful South Florida winter was a tad bit warmer than it usually is and motor boaters didn’t let the occasion drift on by. Not only because of the vast amount of sunshine, the great fishing, or the calming seas but because the gas prices are at a low! For boaters, the rate of engine friendly non-ethanol gas has reduced!

“According to Waterwayguide.com reports, prices for non-ethanol gas at Florida east coast marinas either stayed the same or dipped. The average drop was .35 cents per gallon from January 12-23 alone. Windy conditions and rough cooler weather has kept many anglers at the docks this week, but those who made it off land have been seeing plenty of fish. On the east coast of South Florida, winds have shifted to the Northwest about 5 to 10 knots as the front strolled through.
