The Friends of Jupiter Beach organization “is a grassroots, volunteer-driven not-for-profit group dedicated to keeping a special section of Jupiter Beach clean & dog-friendly in northern Palm Beach County.” since 2006, the Friends of Jupiter Beach and all of their volunteers have cleaned up over 49,000 lbs. of trash off of our beaches! The clear, warm waters of South Florida and the Palm Beaches offer year round snorkeling spots that can be found almost anywhere, but a very popular Palm Beach County snorkeling spot was ranked and named among the 12 best snorkeling spots in the country, according to Yahoo Travel!

Most of South Florida boasts many snorkeling spots that people tend to frequently enjoy by drifting along and seeing underwater creatures come to life! No matter how much experience you have out on the waterways, it is always a good decision for all, from novices to mavens, to frequently review the boating safety rubrics before setting off and departing from the dockage.  

As young as a teen, it is mandatory to learn the guidelines of the roads before you sit behind the wheel and many believe that same importance should be implemented before taking the controls of the waterways. How good will the fishing be during its opening month?

South Floridians enjoy a fresh snook dinner and some of the most excited fisherman have been rigged and tackle has been ready for weeks, just waiting for Monday September 1, 2015 opening of the fall snook season.

“I was at the inlet first thing Monday morning hoping to get a keeper snook,” said the avid Jupiter, Florida Local. The statewide season trails a three-month closure for snook on the Atlantic Coast and with the initial opening happening a week before Labor Day, stirring up larger crowds is expected to be centering in on the snook’s common areas such as Sebastian inlet, Fort Pierce and Jupiter, Florida as well as the Gulf Coast passes too!

Labor Day is very traditional day that celebrates the American labor movement and contributes to workers that made the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country. SUP stands for stand up paddle boarding and it is something Floridians have loved for years. It has recently gained tremendous interest from Jupiter locals.
