On the second Friday of every month, Food Trucks line the streets of Downtown Abacoa for the monthly Food Truck Invasion.

Food Trucks Invasions are a growing trend for local towns and neighborhoods to get everybody together to enjoy the giant outdoor picnic. The bright and colorful food trucks line the streets and offer a variety of different food and specialties from all over the world. Trucks specialize in their own style own cuisine to develop the perfect taste to make their truck stand out from the others. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids on Tuesday, March 5th.

The event will take place under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time and craft activities about Florida’s History, animals, people and local plants, and the Lighthouse Keepers. The event is aimed for children 8 years old and younger. The children are asked to bring a small blanket or picnic mat for the event.

The program is free and lasts approximately 45 minutes. You are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the event for check in. The event starts at 10:30 am and the space is limited to 25 children. Click here to RSVP and reserve your child’s spot before this upcoming Friday, March 1st.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Hike Through History this weekend.

The 2-mile journey includes hiking through the 120 acres of the Lighthouse Natural Conversation Area to learn about nature and the history of the iconic Jupiter site and Lighthouse. The historic site is just one of three natural sites in the United States and is protected by the Bureau of Land Management’s National Conversation Land Programs.

This Saturday, March 2nd at 8:30 am the Lighthouse is hosting the event. The hike welcomes children and adults to join in. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum age for children is 5 years old.

The markets are brought together by the local towns to support our local growers and farmers. The Green Markets occur rain or shine.

This Friday join the River Center in Jupiter for an exciting family-friendly adventure, the Sandbar and Seashell Family Boating tour and Snorkeling Exploration.

Climb onboard the Osprey boat for a fun trip on the Loxahatchee River. Here you’ll be able to hunt for seashells, snorkeling and get some sunshine, while docking at the sandbar. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, water, snacks and snorkeling gear. Guests will be getting on and off the boat at several times through the day.

The boat will launch this Friday, February 22nd from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Burt Reynold’s Park off of US Highway 1 in Jupiter. Registration is required because of limited space. Click here to register. The cost is $20 dollars for kids and $30 dollars for adults.

The countdown is on for the annual Jupiter Seafood Festival coming to Carlin Park this Saturday and Sunday.
