The popular Okeechobee Steakhouse is now open for Sunday Brunch. The Sunday Brunch service started on Sunday, March 31st and it was the first time in the restaurant’s 72 years of business.

Okeechobee Steakhouse is one of the oldest steakhouses in Florida located on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach.

The entertainment, lifestyle and shopping center is getting a new name. CityPlace will now be known as Rosemary Square.

According to a recent press release, CityPlace is set to undergo a five-year, $550 million dollars renovation that will transform CityPlace from the retail and entertainment center to a vibrant destination and community center.

The new 72-acre Rosemary Square will offer more retail, new hotel, more art and cultural programs and more residences. Over the weekend, the new main street area was debuted and is now on display on Rosemary Avenue between Okeechobee Blvd and Hibiscus street.

The City of Palm Beach Gardens Recreation is hosting their annual Easter Egg Extravaganza this Saturday, April 13th at the Gardens Park Soccer fields.

The egg hunt is for all ages and includes a breakfast from local vendors, interactive games, bounce houses, dance demonstrations, and a live DJ. There will also be a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny from 9:15 am to 11 am, be sure to bring your camera.

The egg hunt will start at 10 am and the children will be divided into different groups based on their ages. The following age groups include ages 3 years and under, ages 4 to 6 years old and ages 7 to 10 years old. Don’t forget to bring your own Easter basket to collect the eggs filled with different types of candy.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is having their Inaugural Luminary Luncheon on Tuesday, April 16th at 12 pm.

The luncheon is hosted by the Lighthouse Luminaries who are ambassadors for the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. The Luminaries meet socially to promote and fundraise for the preservation for the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse and other buildings onsite.

The proceeds raised from the luncheon will support the painting of their interior and exterior of the Lighthouse which takes place every 10 years.
The Luncheon is taking place Tuesday, April 16th from 12 pm to 2:30 pm at new The Pelican Club located at 1065 North Highway A1A in Jupiter. The Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are Joe Namath and Charles Modica.

The Friends of Jupiter Beach are hosting a Beach Cleanup this Saturday. The Friends of Jupiter Beach has been organizing beach cleanups every month since 1994 and they are always on the first Saturday of the month.

Volunteers from more than 15 different area codes and all ages come to Jupiter to help remove the trash and recyclables from the beach. For those who attend and participate in the clean up there is always a continental breakfast and a “Thanks for coming” prizes.

The cleanup started when a small group of volunteers gathered together to pick up the trash from the beach, the cleanup now has evolved into over 200 volunteers every month. On average, more than 490 pounds of trash and recyclables are collected during the beach clean ups every month…

Two resorts in Palm Beach County have just recently received a Forbes Five-Star Award. Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa and the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach have received the awards. Its Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa fourth consecutive year in a row getting the award. Two other Palm Beach County hotels have received four-star awards, The Breakers and Boca Raton Resort and Club. Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa and the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach are the only two hotels in Palm Beach County and two of eight hotels in Florida to get the award.

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach has recently reopened after being closed for months of renovations. The Museum hosts their Art After Dark series on Friday nights.

Every Friday night the museum stays open later for the event and features a series of different programs every week. The next Art After Dark series is this Friday, April 5th and this week will feature a performance by Poet Lenelle Moise. Moise will perform both music and poems that move between the memories of her growing up as a Haitian immigrant and pop culture. Ellen E. Friday night, the Village of Tequesta is hosting their monthly Food Truck Pow Wow at Constitution Park starting at 5 pm for the last Food Truck Pow Wow of the season.

The giant outdoor picnic is a great way to gather with your friends and community. The Food Trucks will line Constitution Park and feature some of the best specialty dishes, cuisine, desserts, comfort foods, and best gourmet food on wheels.

The Downtown at the Gardens is hosting two upcoming events to celebrate Spring. The kid-friendly events include a Kid’s Garden to Table Cooking class and a Spring Hop-Opening celebration.

This Saturday, April 6th the outdoor lifestyle center is hosting their Peter Cotton Tail’s Garden to Table Cooking event. The kid-friendly cooking class features Easter-themed cooking with Miss Nancy and Grace from What’s Cooking Kids.
