The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium located within Downtown Abacoa is hosting three baseball games beginning this Thursday. Downtown Abacoa is home to a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment to check out before attending one of the baseball games this Memorial Day weekend.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals. The stadium is also home to two Major League Baseball Teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Miami Marlins during their Spring Training.

Good news for cruise travelers, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has announced that cruising will begin out of the Port of Palm Beach beginning this summer. The first cruise back into the Port will begin sailing to Freeport, Bahamas beginning July 2nd.

The Grand Classica ship will be the first cruise back in the Port of Palm Beach. Normally the cruise line has two ships that leave out of Palm Beach County, The Grand Classica and the Grand Celebration. Both ships offer several dining venues, entertainment, lounges, bars, pools, a kid’s club, casinos, unlimited food, and drink packages.

The public can now help marine life by adopting a sea turtle through the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Adopt a Sea Turtle program. This unique program helps to benefit further research, rehabilitation projects, and the continuous care for the injured, sick, and endangered sea turtles housed at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit organization located in Juno Beach. The center’s mission is to help protect marine life and to help promote ocean conservation. The center rescues injured or endangered sea turtles to bring to their sea turtle hospital for further care and diagnosis before releasing back into the ocean.

Palm Beach County is home to the John D MacArthur Beach State Park, the only state park located within the county.  The park was established in 1989 and its purpose is to protect Florida’s southeast coast.

The park is located in North Palm Beach and is situated between the Lake Worth Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The park is home to more than seven species of plants, more than 22 species of animal’s roam throughout the park and features more than 438 acres of natural environment.

An Estuary is located within the northern section of the park and features an Anastacia Limestone Rock Reef that was formed more than 125,00 years ago. The reef is mostly made of limestone and is one of Palm Beach County’s best snorkeling spots.

Jupiter’s Harbourside Place is hosting their reoccurring Classic Car Show this upcoming weekend. Dozens of classic and antique cars will be rolling into Harbourside this Saturday afternoon.

Gather your friends and family and come check out some of the world’s most unique cars. The popular Car Show happens once a month and is always hosted on a Saturday towards the end of the month. The Classic Car Show is hosted by South East Classics.

The Car Show is currently accepting cars to be featured in the show. All makes, all models, and all years are welcomed to join in on the Car Show. The Classic Car Show starts at 2 pm this Saturday, May 22nd. The day will feature participant and spectator choice awards.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a Public Guided Tour for the public to get a sneak peek inside the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The tours are offered several times a day and a special Hospital Edition Tour is offered on select nights.

During the tours, visitors will learn about each sea turtle patients housed in the center and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center staff will be there to answer any questions about the ocean, marine life, sea turtles, and the center.

The tours are offered twice a day at 12 pm and again at 2 pm. The tours last approximately an hour and additional tours are added on Saturday’s and Sunday’s at 11 am and 1 pm.

This May, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum has two remaining Lighthouse Sunset Tours. On Wednesday nights, the Lighthouse invites the public to attend a tour of the lighthouse at sunset.

Climb to the top of the Lighthouse Towers and witness the incredible sunset views of Jupiter. Those who attend the tour will get a chance to witness the Light turn on and illuminate the sky as well as get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works.

The Lighthouse Sunset Tours last approximately an hour and cost $25 dollars per person or $20 dollars per Lighthouse Members. Children are welcomed to attend the tour and must be 48 inches tall to climb the 105 steps to the top of the Lighthouse and be accompanied by an adult.

Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa is currently preparing to host their annual Jupiter Summer Fest happening this Saturday, May 22nd. The Jupiter Summer Fest is an all-access pass to try beer, wine, and spirits from around the world.

The event is happening at the Abacoa Amphitheater with all of your favorite local brews, exotic wines, specialty drinks, and much more. The event will also include plenty of food, interactive games, and live entertainment.

The event is spilt up into two sessions, Session One begins at 1 pm to 4 pm and Session Two begins at 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Tickets are required, and the General Admission ticket includes samples of alcohol, great music, and access to delicious food vendors and merchandise.
