The iconic Palm Beach outdoor shopping and lifestyle center is hosting several events throughout the summer for everyone to enjoy. The Royal Poinciana Plaza has undergone renovations and is now one of the hottest spots for shopping, dining, and events on Palm Beach island.

The Royal invites you to join in on their new “Hello Summertime” event series filled with friends, family and movies. The events are open and free to the community and all are welcomed to attend.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting another Sea Turtle Sleepover this June. The sea turtle research and rehabilitation center added the new event to their calendar this year and due to the popularity of the event have added more dates throughout the year.

The Sea Turtle Sleepover is an exclusive event held at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. The event is aimed for children ages 8 through 12 years old. The sleepover is a nighttime program that will feature a tour of the Sea Turtle Hospital, include children’s activities, scavenger hunts, and chances to meet the sea turtle patients. The night will also include an ocean themed movie with pizza, snacks and drinks.

Join the AustinBlu Foundation and The River Center in Jupiter for the annual AustinBlu Fishing Tournament on Saturday, June 15th.

This family friendly fishing tournament aims to support outreach efforts and support education and the importance of safety on the water. The two also team up throughout the year to host several Boating Safety Classes.

This Fishing Tournament is unique, not only does it host one competition, but it hosts two, a Release Competition and a Harvest Competition. In the Release Competition, anglers will receive points for the number of fish and the species of fish caught, photographed and released back into the water. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their 8th Annual Run 4 The Sea 2019 on Saturday, June 15th. The 4-mile run supports the Center’s mission of sea turtle research and rehabilitation and ocean conservation.

The run is timed and will run along A1A in Juno Beach and Jupiter. The run is on June 15th and is open to all walkers and runners who wish to participate. Kids can join in on the fun and participate in the 1-mile Kids Fun Run that will start after the 4-mile run has begun. Parents can either cheer their child on or run with them at no additional charge. The cost for the Fun Run is $20 dollars per child and the cost includes the run, a child’s t-shirt and a medal.

This Saturday, June 8th, is World Oceans Day where people around the world celebrate and honor the ocean.

Celebrations begin at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton on 9 am on Saturday and then again at noon on Sunday. The day’s activities include: coloring activities, learning experiences, games and activities, a chance to create recycles artwork, take a picture with the sea turtle mascot Luna, tour the Nature Center, Food trucks and much more.

Join the group from Blue Friends and Lynne Wells on the third Saturday of the month for the monthly Beach Clean Up. This Saturday, June 8th is the next clean up on Juno Beach.

The cleanup starts at 8:30 am and the cleanup last approximately an hour. Following will be a light breakfast provided and sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Palm Beach Gardens and Another Broken Egg Café in Jupiter. Complimentary coffee will be provided by Oceana Coffee.

You are asked to bring gloves, a bucket, closed toed shoes to help clean up the beach and help keep our beaches clean for the sea turtles and other Marinelife.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting two Lighthouse Sunset Tours this month of June.

During the tour, visitors climb the 105 steps to the top of the Lighthouse tower and see the spectacular views of Jupiter and the ocean. Visitors will even get a change to watch and see how the Jupiter Light turns on to light up the sky and get a tour of the Watch room to see how everything works.

The tours are approximately 75 minutes long and cost $20 dollars to attend and $15 dollars for Lighthouse Members. The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their Safari Nights: First Fridays this Friday night, June 7th.

Come and enjoy the extended hours of the Palm Beach Zoo during their Summer Safari Nights. On the first Friday of every month during the summer, the popular zoo stays open late for you to explore the zoo, splash around in the interactive play fountain, explore the new Nature Play Pavilion, and much more.

During the summer, the First Friday Nights are themed and the first theme for this month is Superheroes. Where you can come and dress up as your favorite Superheroes for your chance to win one or several prizes.

The South Florida Science Center and Florida Atlantic University’s Brain Institute have just opened the world’s most advanced neuroscience exhibit. The exhibit will inspire a new generation of technologists, scientists and medical professionals.

The exhibit is called Journey Through The Human Brain and features the latest high-tech displays, state of the art equipment, innovations and immersive experiences and installations. The exhibit is a 2,500 square foot permanent exhibition located in the West Wing of the Science Center. The development has been in progress for the past 3 years and the exhibit is now open to the public.

The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society is a non-profit zoological organization located in West Palm Beach in Dreher Park. The Zoo is home to more than 550 animals, many of them are endangered and roam with the parks 23 acres of tropical habitat.

The summer, the Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their Unlimited Summer Safari Savings Pass. The pass includes free unlimited daytime visits from May 1st through September 30th when you buy one full price admission ticket. If you purchase your tickets online during this time, you will able to receive your Summer Pass at the admissions booth upon arrival to the zoo.
