All summer long in Palm Beach, The Worth Avenue Association presents its annual “Worth The Drive”. Now through August 15th, local restaurants, hotels, shops, spas and salons on and around Worth Avenue’s shopping area are offering summer promotions.

Several restaurants are offering a 3-course prix-fixe Lunch for $20 dollars per person at some of Palm Beaches finest. The restaurants include Ta-Boo, The Colony Hotel, Bice, Pizza Al Fresco, Eau Palm Beach and The Leopard Lounge and Restaurant at The Chesterfield Hotel. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts several Turtle Walk events throughout the year for visitors to learn and observe the egg laying and nesting process of sea turtles. During the event experienced Loggerhead Marinelife staff have set up a designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while the visitors get an informative presentation before they get to see for themselves.

Turtle Walks are $18 dollars per person and $15 dollars for Loggerhead Marinelife Center members. Walk in’s are welcome but a spot is not guaranteed. The Palm Beach Selfie Trail is a collection of "selfies" at photo-worthy spots in Palm Beach County.

From the Jupiter Lighthouse to the Palm Beach Zoo to the life-size Chess game in PGA, the area has dozens of locations that are worth taking a selfie at.

The Selfie Trail currently has nearly 30 spots on Discover the Palm Beaches official Selfie Map, click here to see it. You can upload a photo at one of these locations to be featured on the map- just tag @PalmbeachesFL or #ThePalmBeaches on Instagram.

A unique new tapas restaurant opened in West Palm last week on the Clematis waterfront. 

The spot is called Tapeo and it's a two-story restaurant with a casual vibe to sip wine and dine downstairs and a white-tablecloth, traditional atmosphere upstairs. On the lower floor you'll find eye-catching art by New York graffiti artist Raul Rubio and on level two you can get incredible views from huge windows overlooking the downtown Waterfront Commons.

Tapeo is open for lunch and dinner offering a menu full of variety. The lunch menu includes plenty of salads priced $8.95 to $12.95, classic soups like lentil, gazpacho, and seafood, Spanish-style sandwiches for $12.95 and a selection of entrees featuring traditional rice dishes, pork chops and steaks.

Tomorrow, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their 7th Annual Run 4 The Sea. The race is 4 miles long and begins at 7am, Saturday June 16th, and is open to runners and walkers. Following the start of the 4-mile run there will also be a 1-mile Kids Fun Run starting at 8:15 am.

The purpose of the run is to support and raise money for the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to provide rehabilitation to injured and endangered sea turtles and to promote the conservation of the ocean.

After the run, participants are invited to stay and enjoy a post-race celebration with kid’s activities, breakfast vendors, music, and an award ceremony. Awards will be presented to the Top Overall male and female, Top Three male and female for different age…

Summer in Paradise, also known as S.I.P., is a set of events and free things to do this summer in West Palm Beach. The events range from fireworks to live music, outdoor movies, downtown shopping and dining deals and much more.

The premier event during the S.I.P. is the weekly Clematis by Night. Where concerts happen every Thursday night featuring performances by local bands playing everything from country, to reggae, pop, rock and more. The River Center in Jupiter collaborates with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary several times a year to provide a series of Boating Safety Classes. The classes are targeted to attract young boaters in our community, however the class welcomes all ages who want to learn the importance of safety on the water.

The classes are put together through the sponsorship of the AustinBlu Foundation, a non-profit aimed to raise awareness and to promote educational programs and classes for boating safety.
