The countdown is on for the annual Jupiter Seafood Festival coming to Carlin Park this Saturday and Sunday.

The newly renovated Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is hosting a new series every Friday night called Art After Dark.

The Riverwalk in Jupiter is a recreational pathway that runs along the Intracoastal waterway from north of the Jupiter Inlet to the Jupiter Natural Ridge Area. The River Center in Jupiter and the United States Coast Guard team up several times a year to provide a number of Boating Safety classes. The boating safety classes are aimed for young boaters in the area, but all are welcomed to attend to learn how to navigate the waterways.

The safety class are provided by the AustinBlu Foundation, a non-profit that is dedicated to raising awareness about safety on the water and to promote education programs.

The cost to attend the class is free, however a deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. The deposit of $10 dollars will be refunded in full to all who attend the class.

Tomorrow, Saturday Feburary 9th is the big day for the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. The museum opens its doors after eight years of construction and renovations. The museum has undergone a $100 million renovations that were done by the award-winning British Architectural Design and Engineering firm, Foster + Partners.

The museum had to start fundraising campaigns to raise $100 million dollars for the renovations and continued to raise money until the renovations were completed.
