Construction on the new golf and entertainment center in West Palm Beach is expected to be completed in October. The new Drive Shack is currently under construction and is located next to the Palm Beach International Airport.

 South Florida plays host to the 24th International Ballet Festival Closing Gala of the Stars. The cultural event takes place August 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium, 2901 West Flagler Street, Miami.

The International Ballet Festival returned to South Florida for a glorious season. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting their Sunrise Nest Excavation this August. The Sunrise Nest Excavations started on Thursday, August 1st, where the Marinelife Center staff will give the public an insight into their Research Department.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center has gotten permission from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to allow the public into their department. The unique program is led by a permitted staff member who will lead the guests down to the Juno or Tequesta beaches to talk about the nesting and hatching process of sea turtles. While there, you might be able to see a live excavation.

On the third Sunday of every month, the city of West Palm Beach hosts their reoccurring Sunday on the Waterfront series. The free family-friendly concert series is held all year long and features a variety of national and regional recording artists.

The concerts take place along the waterfront on Flagler Drive at the Waterfront Commons. The Commons is an ideal place to sit back and enjoy the music and entertainment.

The next concert is Sunday, August 18th at 4 pm to 7 pm. The 3-piece band, Sip and the Spinouts will be performing. The band plays a blend of rock, western swing, surf, blues, country and root music and has travelled all over the United States to perform.

Every Thursday night, the city of West Palm Beach hosts their monthly Clematis By Night. Clematis By Night is part of the city’s Summer in Paradise program that provides free entertainment, outdoor concerts, restaurants deals and shopping discounts for its local residents.

The next Clematis By Night is Thursday, August 15th from 6 pm to 9 pm. The entertainment and music will be provided by Quick Fix. This Saturday, August 17th the premier cycle studio in Palm Beach Gardens will transform into a pink party to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Florida. Cycle For A Cure will be held at CycleBar on Donald Ross and Military Trail.

The class will feature a high-intensity and energy 60-minute spin class filled with music, competitions, exciting prizes and snacks. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research, rehabilitation center and sea turtle hospital whose mission is aimed to protect the ocean and all that live in it. The Marinelife Center provides treatment and care for endangered and injured sea turtles before being released into the ocean.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a special program that allows you to Adopt a Sea Turtle. By adopting a sea turtle, you help benefit the continuous care and treatment for the sick, endangered and injured sea turtles. You will also help by furthering the studies of green, leatherback and loggerhead sea turtles that nest along Juno Beach, Jupiter and Tequesta from March to the end of October.
