Spring Break season is upon us in Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County School District starts their Spring Break on Saturday, March 16th and the students return back to school on Tuesday, March 26th. Throughout the county there are plenty of activities going on around to keep busy.

Abby’s Performing Arts Coaching: Spring Break week is also Celebrity Week at the Performing Arts school and students who attend will learn to sing, dance, and act as their favorite celebrities. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa host two professional baseball teams for Spring Training, The Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals.

This weekend, the scheduled is filled with games and fireworks.

Tonight, the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Houston Astros at 6:05 pm. Following tonight’s game there will be a Firework Night presented by Wawa. The gates for the game open at 4 pm. The IPIC Theater recently opened in Delray Beach last week. The upscale movie theater located just south of Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach on Thursday, March 7th.

The theater complex features eight giant movie screens, office and retail space and a parking garage. The movie theater seats are viewing pods, which wrap around movie goers to create your own private space. The seats recline, in addition to be very comfortable. The pods also come with hidden cup holders, a blanket and a pillow. The seat pods reduce the amount of seating per theater, but the movie theater has 443 seats with the auditoriums ranging from 40 to 80 seats in each.

Fundraising through the Walk drives bold and urgent innovation as you and other South Florida residents march together toward a treatment and ultimately a cure for ALS.
